When you use TherapyMate's AI feature, it is important to allow your computer's microphone to be used by default. If you don't allow the microphone to be used, the AI Start button will not work.
Each browser has it's own way to set the default. If the default is not set, you will see a pop-up window asking you to allow your microphone each time. Sometimes the pop-up window is hidden under other browser windows on your screen where you can't see it. Saving the default will prevent this from happening.
Here are two examples:
Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge
Firefox
When you see these popup messages, click the Allow while visiting the site or Allow and Remember for all microphones depending on the browser. This will set the default for TherapyMate specifically and allow you to start AI sessions by clicking the Start button.
