If a clinician is temporarily located outside of the United States or Canada, and is trying to see clients back home where the Practice is located, the following seems to work:
- The Clinician sets their TherapyMate time zone to the Practice time zone.
- The Clinician leaves their computer set to the time zone they are located in.
- The Clinician schedules appointments at a time that they can meet with the client in their time zone.
- TherapyMate will make the conversion and the client will get their appointments reminders or see the appointment in the client portal in their time zone.
For example, if I was in Paris and I scheduled a client for 7:00 pm Paris time, the actual appointment would be 1:00 pm Eastern time if my Practice was located in that time zone. The client would get their appointment reminders for 1:00 pm or see that on their appointment screen in the client portal if they logged in.
