A client can sign your documents and questionnaires, Treatment Plans, Good Faith Estimates and other Custom Note documents.
When a client is prompted to sign a document, a signature window like the one below will appear where they can type their name in the highlighted box.
As they type it will show a cursive styled signature.
When the client clicks Submit, they are agreeing to using this electronic signature as the legal equivalent of their manually handwritten signature. When the document(s) are saved they will appear in the Completed Documents area in the client's notes and documents page.
This process happens on the first to document they are asked to sign. Additional documents will automatically use this saved signature on future documents.
If the client wishes to change their signature, they can login to the client portal, access their profile page and record a new signature.
If two people want their signature on the document(s) they could both type in the box before submitting their signatures the first time.
Here is an example of what that might look like:
If you need the client's to sign their own versions of your document individually, each person would need to be invited to the client portal separately from their own stand alone chart or from a partner chart to complete and sign the documents you send them.
