There may be occasions where a client's sessions will be paid by a religious organization. This document will show you how to configure a client's billing settings so you can create appointments, send statements and track the income.
Here are the steps to consider:
1. Add the name of the religious leader to the client's billing settings as if they are an insurance provider. Instead of looking for them in the name drop down, type their name in the Custom Name box. Put their address, city, state, postal code, and phone number in the appropriate boxes. Here is an example for Bishop Adam West:
2. Configure the client's insurance billing settings by choosing religious leader's name from the Provider Name dropdown. The insured's information isn't required, but you can do it if needed. See below:
3. Schedule the client.
4. Create and send a statement to the Bishop. You can create an open balance or forward balance statement on the client's Invoices and Statements page
5. After you create a statement, mark the sessions as Submitted on the open invoices page in your main billing area so you can record the payments when you receive them.
6. When you receive the payments, enter the payments in your main billing area on the Insurance Payments tab.
