This is by far the easiest and nicest tool to use on your Mac to scan documents from your printer and turn them into PDF files. It even has an optical character recognition (OCR) feature. You can download it from the Apple App Store. It isn't free, but worth every penny you spend for it. You only have to pay for it once.
